Is the BlackBerry DTEK50 compatible with the Rogers Wireless network in Canada? The bands do not match those listed for the BlackBerry Priv. The numbering scheme is completely different.

STH100-1 is essentially Priv STV100-1, and STH100-2 is a combination of STV100-3 and STV100-4.
1 has the 4 and 7 LTE the Big 3 needs.
I ordered it and I'm on Rogers so absolutely it will be ! ). All Canadian carriers are now GSM.
Going from PRIV > DTEK50 > Argon?
am from the caribbean what should i know to make sure when i purchase it it would be able to work
If I buy DTEK50 from Staples, it is likely STH100-1 model, which is for use in North America. I do travel to UK, and Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, etc.) every year and wonder whether STH100-1 will work with the Micro-SIM at those countries. Should I specifically order a STH100-2 instead?
I subscribe to the Seven-Eleven Speakout prepaid service while in Canada, that uses the Rogers network. It works for voice and for data.
For Speakout I had to modify the APN settings, instructions for which are shown on Page 55 in the User's manual
Just make sure the model you get is the sth100-1 and your good to go

Thanks for the info....
As it turns out, if I get STH100-1, it works with those carriers in Canada which provide 4G, but only get 3G in Asia and Europe.
If I get STH100-2, it does not get 4G in Canada even though carriers offer 4G, but get 4G in Asia and Europe.
Guess the decision is easy since BB does not offer a single model which works globally on 4G.
Just make sure you get the mms/sms and data settings correct! I presume that you are using an international unlocked version!?
