I can already predict the reviews - traditionally BlackBerry fans will give it good reviews, as they did the Priv, and traditionally anti BlackBerry clowns will find mostly faults with it.

I've already seen nothing but praise for the Idol 4s for things that had it been by BlackBerry, it would be slagged for.

If samsung released the BlackBerry launcher to replace touchwiz it'd be seen as the best launcher ever, but last year morons wrote so many negatives against it when they're ok with some of the worst and dumbest skins by other manufacturers.

Give it a few days to a week. The only reason the PRIV reviews were directly out is because BlackBerry sent sites review units a week before officially announcing the phone.

Hello everyone - I was loaned a review unit and have interviewed BlackBerry about the device. We don't typically do in depth device reviews like the tech blogs do, but you may enjoy: Blackberry battles on with Dtek50 Android phone - BBC News

Why is BlackBerry spelt Blackberry in the title and the entire article? Not the first time I've seen the BBC spell the name wrong. Caught this in the video also when introducing the interviewee.

Hi, it's just house style. Companies always want their names written in funky ways, sometimes all uppercase, or all lowercase, or with capital letters here and there. Typically the policy is just to write it as a regular word, with one or two exceptions, and BlackBerry therefore is presented as Blackberry. Not a major concern for the company, I'm sure.

The first impression article on the verge is remarkably and surprisingly balanced.

    Thanks for the explanation.

Always thought there would be a universal style guide for business names/exceptions. Was trying to look up some info on the AP style guide but couldn't find anything.

    Cheers
