I have both, QC 2 and 3. Only because I wanted a second one for downstairs and 3 future proofs a little.
The phone charges at the same rate on both because it senses when to slow down. Mine normally backs down at 65 or so.
I don't normally let it get below 35% since 20 is about the bottom you want to let a lithium go.

why is 20 the bottom? I let mine got to 3% lol I always thought the lower the better.
