I just copy the info to a text file and search for "PRD".

DTEK50-STH1- PRD-62980-002 Shop BlackBerry NA purchased @ July 26th '16 when released. Presently on the January 5th '18 patch (received OTA late Jan) after manipulation of turning off "find my device" and turning off updates of Google Play Services. My dad bought my B&H purchased DTEK50 device I'll check with him later and update.

No, no beta on either of our DTEK50's and I should note update notification came OTA prior to the 2 step process to get the update to install.

Hey, wadda' ya' know- that worked! The PRD I posted from box was correct- though I would never have found [ro.prd_number]: [PRD-63036-001] w/o search!

Also, a tip for people that don't want to have to go through the hassle of installing ADB:

Install a terminal emulator on your device such as this one:

I've been checking for updates daily, and just received the Jan 5th patch (AAT497) today. Nothing like receiving the January patch in February...

I also had to do that ridiculous Google Play Services dance.

The team that is in charge of building, signing, and pushing out these patches in a timely manner needs to get their act together.

When you downgrade Google Play Services, you get various warnings on your phone that certain apps won't work until Google Play Services are updated. One of the apps I saw this warning on was Android Wear. The effect of this, as I just found out the hard way, is that Android Wear loses all of its settings. That is, I just had to reset and re-setup my LG Watch Sport from scratch.

This is going to get real old, real fast, if this continues....
