I'd like to make a list of device variants, and how soon they typically get updates.

Use the "adb shell getprop" command over USB. You'll have to download and install "minimal adb and fastboot" on your PC, and enable USB debugging on the device in developer options.

My NA factory-unlocked devices get updates immediately after release. Some others are not as lucky, and I'm trying to find out why.

Place of purchase, last update build and date received, and whether or not you were in the beta program would be helpful too.

Do NOT use autoloader, unless instructed directly by support!!! I got my DTEK60 bricked that way.

When I run this with DTEK60 (still on nov), I get a whole list of info in the shell- but nothing that looks like the info needed here. Am I missing something, doing something wrong?

Yeah, also did it on my laptop, DOS window, developer mode enabled- huge list, still couldn't find requested info. I don't think it works just from phone.
