I'm ready to move from BB10 to blackberry polished android. I'm afraid about battery life. I'm move over a z10 which has a terrible baterry life. The dtek50 will last a day with one charge?

So i moved from z10 to dtek 50. With couple of tweaks you can reach 18-20 hours without charge

I typically unplug my DTEK50 around 7am. With regular use of Kik and sometimes Waze, along with email and texting, I usually have to put it on charge again by 2pm, sometimes sooner. Basically, I'm charging it twice a day.

Ups. It's very sad what i'm reading here. I'm in the same case scenario . I'm charging my z10 twice a day. I'm also using it with waze when i'm driving. Damn, waze eating battery so fast. Thank you very much for your help guys. In these case i'm moving to leap who it's supose to have a good battery life.

don't panic, I had Nexus 5, iphone 5, some Lenovos and DTEK50 has (in my opinion) better baterry life than mentioned phones. OK, if you use WAZE, like I am - screen-on-navigation - you should count on that your phone will die in a couple of hours like any other phone. But standard use will give you full day without battery.

Depends on the type of usage, one can adjust to the capacity of the device. Still it is better than a Z10.
