I have a Dtek 50 with a 16G internal memory. (like all of them) It now says I am running out of memory at 15.46G but going through the phone with a file manager it only shows I am using 8.95G.
    Apps 8.5G, Images 20mb, Other 116mb.Cached data 4.6mb.
Where is it all going and how do I clean it out? I've tried "CCleaner", that didn't do much.
All my photos and media go to my micro SD card.
Using ASUS file manager, Internal storage shows 8.97G of 9.51G used. What happened to my 16G Interenal memory?
Can the Andriod 6 OS really be using 6G's to operate?

Thanks for the reply. Did that. It remove about 4mb of data. I'm looking for about 4G of lost memory.

According to various google searches that’s about what average marshmallow 6 takes up depending on device and other system requirements

3/32 is minimum system requirements for majority using Android in 2019 for basic usage. At this point I’d suggest 4/64 minimum if you want to last another two years from now.
