I need a case for my DTEK50. Thinking of a soft shell. Anybody got one?

Also, do you combine it with a screen protector (I usually hate 'em).

I got the official Smart Flip case. It's very good quality but the opening has no protection.

I have smart flip and hard shell. Bought smart flip first then realized I don't like flip cases. I like the hard shell. I do use a screen protector.

Try Kijiji. The dtek50 cases sold by BlackBerry are overpriced and don't protect phone. Don't waste your money on trash. So much more great cases out there. Better quality/price

I have the BlackBerry soft shell case for my DTEK50. I wouldn't say it's the most protective case, but it does the job for me. And, I really like the feel and weight of it. I found the phone itself without a case was almost too light to handle. The addition of this case seems to make it all the perfect weight for my liking. My only complaint would be the side buttons are a little stiff to press. It's slowly getting better as they break in a bit.

I don't have a screen protector on the phone. I hate those things as well.

I have the soft shell and hard shell. I like both but really like the hard shell, leather back and open access to power, volume and convenience key.

Yea the case leaves the phone so open that one drop will crack case, screen and beat up the frame/edges of phone
