After going through some articles, I saw that there are two varients for this phone: One for the Americas and the other for Europe, Asia and some other countries. So, if I buy a this phone from India I should be able to use it in Italy too, right ?

Thanks in advance guys ! :-)

    Priv actually has 4 versions:

    1. US, Canada Factory Unlocked, AT&T, T-Mobile
    2. Verizon
    3. Canada Carrier, APAC
    4. EMEA

and a 5th variant mentioned in the manuals, presumably the cancelled Sprint variant.

So far based on FCC there are 2 versions, North America and EMEA/APAC:

    http://global.blackberry.com/en/smar...fications.html
    North America and Latin America:

    FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 17, 20, 29, 30(2100/1900/1800/1700/850/2600/700/700/800/700/2300 MHz)
    HSPA+ 1, 2, 4, 5, 8 (2100/1900/1700/850/900 MHz)
    Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)

Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific:

    FD-LTE 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 20, 28A (2100/1900/1800/2600/900/800/700 MHz)
    TD-LTE 38, 40, 41 (2600/2300/2500 MHz)
    HSPA+ 1, 2, 5/6, 8 (2100/1900/850/900 MHz)
    Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz)
So either should work fine, but if you're concerned then make sure it's the European variant.
