Just got a dtek 50, seems as though anytime I make or receive a call, the person on the other end gets added to my favorites in the call app. rather annoying. Anyone else seeing this or did I miss a setting somewhere?
thx

Are you sure the contract is favourited and not just recent? Favourites have a star in the lower right corner. Recents do not
Really, no one has this problem? Is it favorites of recents?
Yeah, same thing on mine but appears not to be BlackBerry specific. It's by android design. My Moto G does the same thing. Seems it adds called contacts to that tab automatically. Stupid.
It's Android and yes it's annoying and stupid. Drove me nuts on my DTEK50.

What OP is referring to is that when Phone App is opened it goes straight to this screen: http://i.imgur.com/8QAc7Av.png
However, what OP (and the rest of us) wants is when the Phone App is opened to go here instead: http://i.imgur.com/ameZcAd.png
And to the best of my knowledge, there is no way to modify this.
No... favourites always appear on top. Recents follow
It's not a glitch. It's how the app was designed. Plus, if you only have 3 favourites... that's a lot of wasted screen space
When you click on the phone app just select the recent call clock then minimize the app,do not clear all. The next time you open the phone app it will show the recent calls log, thats what i do and works fine
That only works if you use the "task switcher" to switch between the phone app and another app.
If you click on the "call clock" then minimize the app (not clear) and then switch between apps, it works. However, if you select the "call clock" and then instead of minimizing the app, you click "home," then open the phone app again, it doesn't work, it goes back to Favorites, not the "call clock."
It's not whether you have favorites or not. Even if you don't have any favorites, it automatically keeps whoever you call most frequently in this space. And no one said it was a glitch, we were just saying it was annoying.
Just tried this again a number of times after reading your post and it still works for me every time. I'm doing it the way as you have described , pressing the home button and then the phone symbol when I need to use it.
