I am loving my Detek 50. I have a ton of music and pod cast files. What Android player do you guys use?

The choices are too many and I have not really settled on ONE player (I don't do podcasts so I don't know if that makes a difference).

I move between BlackPlayer, Pi, PowerAmp. I also see Rocket mentioned. And now it escapes me, but the rather expensive one that has been around since the Playbook!!!

    Neutron?
For music I've been using Blackplayer up to now, but someone mentioned Pulsar on another thread and it looks nice, although I haven't tried it for any length of time yet.

Ah, thanks for giving the ol' gray matter a boost! Yes, that's the one.

As I initially said, there are TOO MANY choices and it is hard to narrow it down.

+1 for Neutron. Although I may check out some of the other recommendations to change things up a bit.

Just using amazon music for me. I haven't put any other music on it so don't use any other players. Amazon prime music seems fine and the dtek50 speakers sound really good

Pocket Casts is the best for your podcast files. Highly recommended it. Syncs between devices which is nice.

I too have an extensive music library, originally using iTunes. I've used iSyncr to transfer the library and playlists including metadata to my DTEK50 and I use PlayerPro (paid version) as my player.

Player Pro includes a terrific free DSP plug-in.

In my view, Player Pro has just the right configurability for advanced management of a substantial music library, without superfluous features not really required on a smartphone platform.

The DSP results n remarkable playback in the car, if you have a decent in car audio system, via bluetooth.
