I've checked my 8350i settings against his, he has an 8330.
From goggle he can surf to a site in a tenth of the time it takes me.
Is this a service provider difference?
I think my signals are good, 2+ bars (most of the time 4 bars).

iden is slower compared to cdma alltell/vzw....
just look up data speeds for iden and then look up alltell...
i know iden is slower because my friend did the boostberry thing and nextels iden network is known to be slower...
Iden has a data speed of close to 29kbps iirc. Alltel/Verizon has nearly broadband speeds. This has been the way since day one. Its just one of those things you come to accept.
