Are you using an 8330 running 4.5.0.160 or 4.5.0.169 on Verizon?

Unfortunately, this is a known problem on Verizon with your OS version.

You can swap in the .sfi radio file from the 4.5.0.131 OS to get rid of the chirp.

Look for the .160/.131 hybrid OS in the Beta OS discussion forum.

ES, the .169 OS also has problems with the ringers profiles and the media player sometimes.

Yes it does. People are having good results with the .169/.131 hybrid as well. It doesn't use the .131 radio file, but it also doesn't seem to have the chirping either. So you get the speed of .169 with the stability of the .131 profiles.

yea i noticed that when i upgraded a few friends onto .160 for their VZW 8330's. i soon found myself downgrading them to .131 instead. solved the well known issue.

Its been 2 weeks and no chirp. The only change I made to .169 was to delete vendor file.
