What is the port under the bottom left corner of the battery? I've seen it on most cell phones, and I can't figure out how to phrase a google search that will actually give me the right results.
i believe that is part of your antenna for your signal. i disassembeled a 8830 before and accidentaly removed that and it wouldnt pick up a signal. i plugged it back in and the phone magically started workig again. lol so im not 100% sure but i think its part of your antenna. google (curve internal hardware) or something like that you might have better luck!
