i have an icon on my home page in the upper left corner.. under the "speaker" icon .. it looks like a little Blackberry with a red line through it.. I am having an issue with getting my email to the phone.. and wonder if these things are connected.. Help.. i am not BB savvy!?

almost sounds like it would some kind of indicator that a service is off but a pic would help

That's when you set your profile to "Vibrate", if set it to "loud" it should disappear.

nope..... that icon was added after the books were printed. it came with the 204 update

My guess is it is the GPS enabled/disabled icon.

2-way or dc is set to vibrate
hold down Q key to chage profile and it will be gone
