    Bad advice. Get familiar with your 8900 before even thinking about upgrading the OS. Find out how things work, and set it up to your liking. Then after using it for a month or two, maybe think about upgrading the OS.
    I see your point and it does make sense. I would still recommend the OP to look into .250 down the road though.

    Back in the day when I first got my 8320 I remember opening the box and updating it immedietly because I knew it was going to need to be. I probably should have played with it for a week because then I would have known what do instead of searching all over the world when it was taing forever to load up the new OS and when I thought things were going wrong and they really weren't. Blackberry's aren't like other phones they have a bit of a learning curve. You need to get used to the overall device first before you start tweeking it. If anything its going to save you some headaches.
