$499.99 plus tax. My contract is up in July and they wouldn't offer me a 1 year extension. So it was either $429.99 for a 2 year extension or retail with no extension. No brainer.
I got mine for $400. 4 payments. @ $10?.00 Dollars a month. I had a yr left on my contract. Retail 500.00 paid extra for shipping also. Should be here Wed. Not a very good deal. Jeff

How in the **** is everyone getting tmo to sell them the phone?!?! I have called cust. svc. ten times and every time I get the 'we can't sell it to you until feb. 11' song and dance. I'm going to lose it trying to get this 8900
i just mentioned i was looking for BB's! Ask the CS what they had new and he told me about the 8900 and i asked the price and said i will take it.. I still have a year left on my contract.. so only $70 off the phone
299.99 with 2yr extension. Spread over 4 bills with nothing up front. Minus the 100 mail in rebate when I get it. I live in Oregon so no tax. Added insurance so there's another 5.99 a month. But that makes 140 over 2 years which is *far* better than paying for a full replacement!

I think the $70 off is standard for those with no upgrade. I was sure I only needed to extend my contract back to 2 years from a year and a quarter to get the 70 off, I just called to double check and that is the case.
Brook, keep trying. Call, make sure you select smartphone department. Be nice and say you're calling to upgrade your device. As they go through the order, say 8900 curve nonchalant like, make small talk and absolutely do not mention you know it's early or anything along those lines - even after the sale is done. Don't let on anything until you get off the phone. Bite your tongue if you are tempted. You've just had bad luck, I got mine after everyone said it had been locked down last Friday. Don't give up hope.

Ordered friday, paid $541 (including tax and I opted for ground shipping). Not eligible for a full upgrade until march and I refused to be tied to tmobile for another 2 years to save $70.

Nope i have the 8900 in my hand, I upgraded from the old curve. The company I work for has a huge account with Tmobile, so always get phones really cheap with 1 year extensions on the contract.
