Try Viigo - setup account and you *should* be able to add RSS feeds from the WSJ or NYT site.

I use pico news for my papers. Before that it was mobipocket reader which downloaded all of the articles for the day when you sync it. No loading ftw, but I dont believe that it likes os4.5 much.
