I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330 on Alltel, and I am in Arkansas, Alltel is by far the domanant carrier here and I have a perfect signal right now and I am looking at the cell phoen tower and my speed is only about 280 Kbits/s download and 70 kbits/s , I have a mobile speedtest thing that tells, but I always though EVDO speeds were supposed to be about 700 kbps - 1.2 Mbps and EVDO Rev. A speeds were a bit higher than that, and I am in a Rev. A coverage area

Here in NC where I constantly have 3 bars or higher I am getting the following using speed test:
Max download speed is 225.21 kbits/sec
Max upload speed is 88.96kbits/sec
