Is there any difference in this os and the previous ones available? I am running the hybrid that has been available for a while and am curious if i should recompile with the verizon os.

If you're running the hybrid and it's working stay with it.

The hybrids were designed because the later OS builds (.138 and .160) had problems. Like i_hiker said, stay with the hybrid. You are still ahead of the game.

.138 has no call timer, and may have the cycling network indicator problem (1XEV, 1X, 1xev, 1x).

.160 may have the chirping in call issue, and profiles crashes, where you lose your profiles settings.

4.5.0.131 is the most stable, problem-free non-hybrid OS IMO.
