I recently got my Curve a couple weeks ago and I'm loving it. However, when I go to record videos, it records fine. But when I go to play them, they don't work. It gives me and error playing and the files will show up as 0kb. Does anybody know of a fix since it seems like these videos aren't saving to my SD card properly?

    Thank you in advance

Are you properly stopping the video recording?

When you start recording, the Record button will change to a Pause icon. When you press it again, you should see a screen that looks something like this:

You have to select the Stop icon to properly stop the recordings.
Also, make sure your SD card isn't read-only.

Yep, i'm stopping it properly. I just tried it again to make sure. The video shows up to be played, but it shows up as 0kb. So it records and saves to the card, but saves as a 0kb file every time. Everything else works on the SD card. Movies i put on it, pictures, ringtones, etc. Everything works but recording.

I'm running 4.5.0.131 on Sprint if that makes any difference.

I appreciate the help thus far. :]

    EDIT:

add in the http part since I have under 10 posts:

Apparently there's also a bug on the Storm?

Does anybody know what I should do to fix this issue?

Mine works fine...I record the video then go back into Media/Video to replay it. Sorry you're having such issues!

    Go to Options>Media Card>Encryption Mode>Off> Save
I had a similar problem and this solved it.
    Good luck.
