Every other Nextel I've had, the speaker would be muted in the VIBRATE mode. The chirp and voice would only be heard in the earpiece. I have the tone muted on the vibrate profile but still hear my PTT chirp and their voice over the speaker. Has anyone figured out how to make this happen without the additional step of pressing the speaker phone key?

i dont know if this is what you are looking for but here try this

hit the green call button
then menu (the button next to it)
goto options
the direct connect at the bottom
speakerphone (set that to off)
