so i upgraded to 4.5 (verizon)..and i love it.

only wierd thing is when i get a call...and i hit the green "answer" button....my caller is on "speakerphone" for 2 seconds....very wierd.

anyone have a cure?

i searched but found no cures.

I am on Verizon and when i was running 4.5.0.77 the same thing would happen to me as well. I am running .89 now and it is gone...

No fix for it yet, had it on .77 and still there on .97 and I hope it gets fixed soon cause it is annoying.

is .89 official verizon upgrade? or beta

.77 is official verizon. i'm running .97 and still have the issue. it doesn't happen everytime, because the other person has to be making noise for you to hear it. if they aren't you won't hear the speaker.

This issue is everywhere on the forums right now - it's a bug in the OS. Doesn't happen on 4.3.

I also have this problem. Also my answer key on the touch screen doesn't work, when I press it it either shuts the ringer off or goes into call waiting...I don't know which. I have to press the answer key on the bottom to connect...wierd

I noticed the samething after upgrade too. Hope it get fixed in the future.

I had the issue on .77, but after I upgraded to .89 I no longer have the issue.

.77 is verizon's official release. 4.5.0.89 is the latest official release from a carrier, it is from alltel. .97 is a beta release.

I'm running the .89 from alltel and it runs fine. The speaker glitch is gone.

My SMS and MMS messages seem to be working smoother and quicker now too, where as the .77 from verizon was slow. It may have been just me.
