I spoke with a Verizon rep who told me to take my curve 8330 to a verizon store and they would upgrade it for me. Well the store I went to wouldn't do it. I tried to do it according to the instructions on Crackberry and kept getting message that a fatal error had occured. I'm missing out on really good apps and themes because I have the 4.3 version. any suggestions? is there a place that will actually do this for me? Thanks in advance guys.

Short of another user or someone that knows what they are doing, not really. I would really be surprised if a rep would tell you a store would do this for you. THey are usually not equipped for this type of upgrade. Now if a sales/tech rep in store has a private laptop and knows how to do this, they might. I have heard of this in the past.

Edit: What verisonof the OS are you trying to load and version of the desktop manager do you have? ALso are you using a PC or a MAC?
