i downloaded the 4.5 os and got it on my bb curve 8320, then my frend saw it and wanted me to do it for his, so i connected his berry, but forgot to delete the vendor file, so i pull out the bb, delete it, and plug it again. problem is, i pulled it out halfway, so something went wrong... now it wont turn on, i tried a batt pull, all it has is a blinking red led. please help, i dont want to be responsible for this!i need to know how to get it working, i dont care on any os.
Dude, you really did this to your freinds berry Sorry to say it but he may have to slap you for this one lol NEVER NEVER NEVER pull the plug when the berry is in the middle of an install
ya but if all you have is the red led then you need to hook it up to the comp without the battery in and install the os MAKE SURE YOU DELETE THE VENDOR XLM FILE !!! and don't touch it until it's done
im shakin right now im so scared for this bb, it wont connect at all to the desktop manager, or turn on at all, no white screen or anything, just black
Nuked berry thread should do the trick. Start it with the battery out until app loader sees it connected. Start the process and put the battery back in.

If the OS build is interrupted, you have a corrupt OS and it has to be replaced.
Not a big deal, you will have it back in an hour.
Actually I am posting from opera on my bb so it would have been easier for him to do a simple forum search I did one and found 5 threads about black screen and flashing led

That is nice, but there is a real person with a real problem here.
I am posting from my BB. I posted the suggestion to go to the nuked berry thread. See second post in the thread. I am not sure in any event how to post a link. I was trying to be helpful...
