    Please help!

I currently have the 8300 curve, and would like to upgrade my calendar to the same one that is on the new 8330 curve.
    How can I do this?

    Kind regards,

    Chris

The only way to do that is to upgrade to the same version OS as the 8330. NOTE: You CANNOT run the 8330 OS on your 8300. You can only run an 8300 OS. But if you find 4.5.x.x for the 8330, and 4.5.x.x for the 8300, then the calendar should have the same features. You can't update just the calendar since it's an integral part of the OS.

Thank you so much for the reply!

    Quick question:
Where can i find the operating system that will work on my 8300, and how would i go about putting it onto my 8300?

    thank you again,

    Chris

The latest 8300 OS is shown in the sticky at the top of this forum. It looks like it is 4.5.0.124. Follow the instructions in the sticky for downloading it on your PC, then follow the instructions in the CrackBerry Memory Optimization Procedure that's linked in my sig to upgrade your OS on your device. Be sure you have the exe for your current OS available on your PC before you start the upgrade, in case you need to roll back.

You may be able to download it from AT&T's website, or from the BlackBerry site, here: BlackBerry Desktop and Device Software Download Sites

Be sure you are running DM 4.6. DM 4.7 doesn't work well with the MOP tool and CrackMem.
