hey guys i had a question regarding the curve 8900 since it has wifi if i purchased an unlocked one could i use it on my wifi just for fun i really love the phone and would love to jsut have one to mess with on wifi. is this possible without a plan? i am just interested in minor things and having fun with the fone in my house. could this be possible? thnx

Why wouldn't you be able to? On Wi-Fi you'd be able to browse websites and such, just not receive anything BIS related (push mail, MSN, maps, etc).

Yes you could use it for web browsing and also as a media player.

Yea you could use it, but it would be a waste to buy a phone and to only use it for wifi/music. An ipod would be better.

i have an ipod and ipod touch. i enjoy technology and it would allow me to mess with the os and diff programs with no fear of messing up my primary fone
