I just got my 8900 and Im trying to get the WiFi to work.

It says Im connected but nothing shows up when I use the browser. Keep getting error messages.

I check my connection settings and it shows a dash instead of the check mark. Although it shows my WiFi connection in green...

I just wanna be able to use the WiFi to browse at on the go but I cant even connect at home...

First suggestion.... do a battery pull on your 8900... if that does not work, pull the plug on your wireless router.... for both of these battery pull or pull the plug, you should leave the power off for about 20 seconds to be sure everything is reset properly... then put the battery back in or plug it back in... give that a try and let us know if it works after that.

I was just looking at your profile... it says you have a Storm... I did not know the Storm had WiFi.

I will try that in a minute. Im trying to upgrade my OS.

I just got rid of my Storm. Bad click screen plus no WiFi and got a 8900.

Sorry... I mean sorry about your upgrading to OS 5.0... you need to go the BETA forum for those answers... I've heard nothing but problems from people that have upgraded to OS 5.0.
