So I just go the 8520 that I won from Salomondrin's twitter contest in the mail. It well surpasses the 8310 that I currently have. I can't figure out if the profiles icon in the top left corner is accessible from the home screen or not. And for some reason the Blackberry App world doesn't work on a Wi-Fi connection??! that seems kind of odd. The trackpad works well past what I expected. I havent seen if Kevin's direct sunlight problem affects mine or not. All-in-all i am really pleased with the phone. The battery door is a little loose, idk if thats a manufacture thing or the hours of playing with before it was shipped (i know i would have used it a few times before I gave it away). The "Dedicated Media Keys" are pretty convenient to have. Makes the BB more useful as an mp3 player. The Processor speed blows the 8310 out of the water. I vote Yes for the 8520 as a replacement for the 83xx's
