Hey, i was wondering if anyone out there could help me by any chance..

Problem - once i've installed the OS i wanted, deleted the vendor.xml, and connected my berry via usb and try to upload the OS onto the berry it just doesnt want to upgrade..

Any ideas why it doesnt want to upgrade?

Are you using DM? If you are, don't. Go to apploader directly.

yeah im using DM 5.0 i've even done it via apploader it still doesnt want to load onto my phone for some reason it just goes to a page saying there no updates available or something similar to that

If you use the App Loader.exe you will not get any message about no updates available... try this... just before you start DM or the Loader.exe disconnect you internet connection.

does DM 5.0 does that connect to the internet and search for the latest updates or does that search on your pc for the latest updates e.g. the installed firmware or OS
