WHen I press down on my trackball the menu comes up instead of it selected the highlighted item. This is happening in several different programs. I am unable to select an item in a list because of this.
Any ideas???
i've got a similar problem on my bb8800. since one rainy day (must have gotten some little water into the keyboard - in case of i tried to dry it out as good as possible with light heat) my trackball is starting to type U's whenever i try to scroll down. everything else of the keyboard and the phone itself works well. only the trackball screws up. i can scroll any direction pretty much fine, just downwards gets me in trouble.
there are so many trackball threads, wasn't sure where I should post so just decided to do it here. My trackball scrolls but not in the right directions. When I scroll left or right, on the screen it goes up and down. When I scroll up and down, on the screen it goes left and right. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?
