my trackball dials star when clicked. this happend after i was using pandora and the phone froze? anyone, i already tried a reset

You say reset, did you remove the battery while the device was ON, wait a minute and replace?

yes and i did a restore from a previous date as well, nether works, and my delete key must have been remapped as well, i cant do the alt shift del reset but alt and shift work

Yeah try a battery pull. It almost sounds like a water damage prob though. Was it around any water or anything?

Nope, is it still having the problem even after taking the battery out for a minute or two?

Still no info on this problem. I have the 8330 and it also at times will dial #* when the Trackball is pressed.. Removing the battery fixes this problem but I would like to know what is the cause of the problem to prevent it from happening.
