i just got the new tmobile unlimited plan for only 49.99 for my 8900. so if you are apart of the tmobile loyalty program they should hook you up. i just called customer service and they set me up in under five minutes no extended contract etc. so the rumor about it only being in SF is not true.

Yuup, you need to be a good tmobile customer. Which means two things

    1) Minimal (one or two) of having your service shut off due to late payment (happened to me twice in 3 years?)
    2) Be on T-Mobile for more than 22 months.

Kinda sucks for the rest, but what are you going to do! They are trying to keep customers

What is this plan you speak of. Am I missing something? Cause I'm paying way more than that.

I didn't get offered the "deal". I was kinda mad since I've been with them since '00. However, I only use 250 minutes each month (max), so upgrading from 1000 anytime w/ free nights/weekends for $39.99 doesn't seem like a good deal for me anyway, so I guess I shouldn't be mad.

Even if you haven't been with them for 22 months, if your account is in good standing, I'd call Retentions anyway and see if you can get it.

I got it and I've only been with Tmo since April 08.

I added it today also. I had a grandfathered tmobile plan with 1500 anytime mins w/free nights and weekends. I was never gonna change the plan, even tho i only use 1000 mins a month. I changed because i wanted to have unlimited voice, data and text. So it works for me and the bill still averages out the same!

    good job tmobile!

Exactly! Every other company unlimited plans are $99 + tax. Mine is only $85.99, thanks T-Mobile. I will never call you Homo again.
