i never had a storm, but i had an iphone 3g and made the move to the 8900 and never looked back! i dont miss the iphone 1 bit.;)
Given your screen name, i see you're from NY just like me. How's the service/call quality/customer service? What kind've plan do u have?
It depends. I've used the most recent line up (9000/8900/9530) and ranking for me would be 8900/9000/9530. I just really dislike the touch feel, and it was slightly buggy (in all fairness the 9530 is getting more stable by the day and prob won't be long before it's "sleek").
The 8900 is just that right fit. It's got all the features, good battery life, a beautiful screen, it's just right. The Bold is very solid, feels wonderful, but overall the low memory killed it for me. And I've already stated by dislike towards touch devices.
This is really an up-to-you decision. We can just comment on what it means to us.
Do it... I dare ya!

so far everything is great. i just joined tmobile for the 8900 so as far as the customer service goes, i wouldnt know just yet. i ended up taking the 300 anytime my favs (i only talk to about 5-6 people constantly) and unlimited txt and data.
Yeah i am seriously eying an 8900 myself.
i have had the 8320,8820,8220 and now the 9530 all in that order.
i feel like touch screens slow you down but i do like browsing on it.
is there any issues with mac or google sync on the 8900?
I thought about the 4torm myself at first but seing I really have no desire for a touch screen and think it would be a pain in the **** more then anything I chose the 8900 and have no regrets

I dropped my Storm for the 8900 yesterday. It seems that a phone that locks up 4x in one day would push me over the edge. Who knew?
i currently have 2 8900 and was thinking of trading 1 for a storm but i keep hearing all this bad stuff about the storm that i have changed my mind
The .109 beta leak has made the Storm near stable for me. Still a bad memory leak but i can live with that. My 8900 on the other hand is a flawless device and i love it. However the Storm's bigger screen and easier navigation are nice but is this worth the trade off? Nope i honestly don't think so.
the storm is ok to type until you do not have to copy parts from a email, copy it into another email , or write bigger mails, and then start moving blocks around......
the suretype system is good as long you do not have to insert words in another language.
The keyboard is great specially in the dark
The 8900 is great if you have to type and do all the copy past etc......
very quick to use.....trackball is great
Today i thought i give the Storm which i haven't used since 2 weeks a try.......2 battery pulls........it's back in the box....and done....tomorrow it will end up in a internet auction......
one thing is for sure the 8900 will never get the attention like the storm, but i need the BB for work......and the better choice is the 8900, if you do mostly emails and calls.
