I have looked in all the folders but there is no unread message... and I can't get rid of the icon, I don't even know if there really are unread messages! Please can someone help?!
Make sure when you check you message folder that you scroll all the way to the top. I know in my email and call log folders sometimes they don't automatically start at the top of the list. If there are no messages then I'm not real sure. You can always try a battery pull
