anyone have this issue?
Knowing which themes are causing you problems
would be just peachy :)
i have removed all themes except for the dimension..
i have a badtz maru theme from themes4bb
what other apps do you have installed? i have a hard time believing it's a theme doing it... only because plazmic is so restrictive
The only theme I use is the Today "Plus".
u have weatherbug and live search
but i've always had those
i had 25MB about 45 minutes ago. now i have 24
A meg in an hour ain't that much of a leak
but still after a day i have no memory.
wondering why thats all
AH gotcha, What OS are you on and did this happen
before that theme got installed.
4.5.0.42 and no
it happens with every theme i install though
happened with iberry and vista theme
does weatherbug update itself with weather conditions? likely its the culprit if that is so.
I am more inclined to think it's the Beta OS and not the themes
Either downgrade for a couple days or try one of the newer ones
grrr
ok i'll try it. i have a mac and thus can only do updates at work...and they don't like me using my work computer for personal stuff
thanks brain trust
It does, I have it and it causes no leak. Granted I am 4.2.2.194
i mean this happened on my old os with iberry tho
Hmmm, I have never had a theme do that. Again I haven't
used any of those. I'm still think OS though.
alright guys
Sometimes I end up with 0 bytes after a few hours. I have Viigo and suspect it's that.
I had a bad memory leak with iberry theme on all 4.5 versions. I kicked iberry to the curb and and really don't have much of a leak on .46 or .52
Check your WeatherBug settings for updates. Someone- my wife(looking over my shoulder ) reset mine to update every 10 minutes. (5, 10, 30, 1 - 8hrs). I still forget to close out all apps by using the backspace key(or reverse arrow key) as needed and options >close. I'll have multiple apps going at one time. May or may not help, but, it's one method to mark off your list as a potential memory hog source.
good call

i dont think it's leaking either. but it's consuming memory, more and more as it runs in the background.
Most likely. It start doing that to me and it's a goner.
What do you think about the Beta OS angle?
i never had a problem before
