Just wanted to share my experience.

I had the 8820 and the phone had some serious issues and wasn't connecting to UMA properly and the voice service was terrible. I almost switched to Verizon which was very expensive. I decided to sign a 2 year contract with T-Mobile and give it a shot with the 8900. What do I have to lose, I had two weeks to try and cancel if I wasn't satisfied.

Man, I'm soooo stoked. The 8900 is close to perfection with U M A. The phone service improved dramatically. The phone and service are basically flawless.

Thanks God, I didn't switch to Verizon and pay a fortune for a cell phone service. For my business, I need unlimited voice and data and Verizon was running close to 155 Dollars month. What a ripoff....

Anyway, Thanks T-Mobile for coming up with UMA and keep up the friendly service.

I have an 8900 with T-Mobile, and I'm blown away by the reliability and the customer service. I've only had to call once about roaming; and the rep was so friendly. We ended up talking for 20 minutes about Blackberry products and tethering.

Hmm, do you have a data plan? That could be it because you can't use App World without a data plan.
