Hi!

Thank you first and foremost for looking at this.

In the last couple days my phone has had an issue. And I am not sure whats happening.

My texts aren't being delivered to certain individuals.

Not certain why.

It appears to be IPHONES 3G maybe?

I will be in the same room with them and it never arrives. But other people it is delivered right away.

I would think it's a provider issue, but it isn't appearing on the internet at all as an issue.

Anyone have any ideas?

I did a restore and deleted all the messages to no avail.

This same thing happened to me and what fixed it for me was to go to setting ---> Network and connections ---> Mobile Network ---> and toggle data services to "off". Exit settings then repeat above and toggle data services back "on"

Still not working.

I tried cycling it in many ways.

To no avail.

Working through the above solution a dozen times.

It doesn't make sense.

Just certain individuals aren't getting any of them.

Out of curiosity, can you receive texts from those people without delay?

Did u have an iphone before your bb10?

If so u cannot send sms to any of ur iphone friends untill u got and deregister from imessage!

An old iphone trick that hits anyone that leaves them!

Yes. Without a hesitation. I get them, and when I reply, it appears to go through. It "looks" like it is doing the communication thing in the upper right corner. So it looks like it is going out. But it never gets delivered.

I was going to suggest doing the "Turn all connections off" thing, but if that's not working, contact your provider. I contacted Rogers when a similar issue happened, and they fixed it.

It's definitely an annoying problem! I definitely sympathize with you! Me not answering texts or him not getting mine definitely caused some misunderstandings!

They see that it is going out.

But they say it is on the other side or in the towers.

And one was with a girlfriend who we were fighting. it was really poor timing.
I was responding....it was crappy.

That would be bad! In my case, he thought I was ignoring him and then I thought he was ignoring me... And when someone asks you to hang out and you never got the message, and they then get mad that you didn't answer... A minefield, I tell yah!!

Pictures go through? Try texting yourself. See what happens. But you're saying that certain contacts don't get your texts, but they do receive your pictures? This is odd. You'd think that both wouldn't be sending.

Which carrier are you with again? It might be a good idea to call them and explain this. Even threaten to "give yourself an early Christmas present and switch carriers," and see what they say.

To prove to you this happens to me, I just waited 2+ hours for my contact to text me back. I finally asked him if he got my messages... And he didn't. And I thought he was ignoring me. THIS is why this is a problem! It causes HUGE misconceptions.

Well.....

Not sure if this is a resolution...BUT

We AT&T has a formula that says (x amount of texts in y amount of time=spam) and they block you from all of the recipients from AT&T. Universally.

SOOOOOO....

You need to have one of your friends call AT&T and elevate a ticket to the higher levels to remove your phone number from the banned list.

The lower levels will say it doesn't exist. But according to AT&T it does.

I will update when it is fixed.
