I just bought a Curve 8300 from eBay, I unlocked the phone and wiped the previous information from the previous owner, I introduced the T-Mobile SIM card and downloaded all my contacts. I added ringtones and pictures via mini USB.

My friend sent me a picture message and I got a text telling me that I had to go to a website to look at the picture, I had the same problem with my sidekick 3 and I made my peace with it because they told me it was the sidekick that didnt support the pics. But BB curve was supposed to be a very good phone with video and stuff.
How can I fix my curve to receive and send pics. I tried to send a picture message and I got a message that it couldnt find the WAP account or something like that. I am very new on the BB so I need someone to explain step by step how I can make my curve send and receive pictures messages. Please help!

I have unlimited txt & pictures messaging in my plan and unlimited internet.

My second questions is regarding internet. How can I connect to the internet with my curve, I dont see a browser or any application. Can someone explain when, how, what? Thanks.

You will need to be provisioned for a Blackberry on your account. Even though you're not trying to use the email capabilities (BIS/BES) part of the Blackberry provisioning, T-Mobile still has to use a RIM provisioning tool to provision your phone for MMS. It's just the way things work. T-Mobile may not be able to provision your phone properly unless you add the BB plan to your account. I suggest the cheap $19.99 Unlimited BIS data plan. Since it's an optional addon, they should not require a contract extension.

BTW, if you already have a BB plan on your account, just call up Customer Service. Ask to speak with a "Blackberry Specialist". Tell that person to check your account and make sure your new 8300 is provisioned for MMS.

they don't require one it's a add on feature that can be canceled at any time
