$460 is mine because that's the price (I think) of the T-Mobile Germany Unlocked 8900.

You really think it'd be only $40 less than a Storm? That seems insane.

My guess is around 350 - 400. Cause why would they sell this phone for only 50 bucks less than a touchscreen and whatever else the storm has. Plus the curve is for the not so serious blackberry users I heard so I think they wanna keep it that way and make it not as pricy.

if it was 350 or lower, then how much would it be WITH a contract? (Hmm a Storm is $199 so I would guess $125?) Btw, after seeing the price of an unlocked Storm, I agree with you.

My best guess is $299.99 with out a contract, $99.99/2 year contract, $149.99/1 year contract.

Did you mean 149.99/1 year and 99.99/2 year? I would agree and hope except for one thing. The 83xx was 149 on 2yr just last month. I see 149 as the mark for 2yr. (tmobile)

With the Storm and Bold hitting the market... that should drive the price down, they are both better and faster using their 3G networks... and with the low prices for each... I would hope $350 without a contract and 149.99 to 99.99 with a 2 year contract.

Are you guys serious? contract price has been out for over a week....its $249.99 with a $50 rebate for a 2 year contract. there is no way the phone sells for $350 without a contract

We are discussing the Javelin/Curve 8900 price for the US, not the Storm. So, if you have a link to where the contract price has been posted for the US version of the 8900, please do tell. Other members are speculating that due to the prices for the Storm and Bold, a Curve 8900 price will come in below that, i.e. $100 or $150 with contract.
