I got my 8900 last night. I got everything set up and good to go excpet for replacing the memory card with a larger one. The one included is only 265 mb, I need to put in my 16gb one in but can't get the old one out! Is there a special way to I should be attempting to remove it?

Look closely at the card that is in the device... there is a little notch on the one side with a small little ketch that stops it from coming out... you need to move that out a little bit then pull on the SD card.

Not a problem... enjoy... you might find more answers to other questions in the Blackberry 101 lessons here on CB as well... I added a link to my signature below, plus you can get to it from any forum page... go to the top of the page, it's under Blackberry Help.

Is it possible that I didn't get a memory card with purchase???

I got a brand new sealed package from Rogers AT&T Canada... There was no 256mb card, but it had 256mb internal memory?

I bought a 4gig card for dirt cheap as I read somewhere the curve has some speed issues when accesssing mem cards above 8gigs?

The Rogers branded 8900 did not come with the 256 SD card. However, the T-mobile ones did.
