Hi there, sorry if my question appear to be basic but I now have a star displayed on the notifcation bar but when i select it says there aren't any notification.
What is this star ?

I had it on my 9930 notification bar as well. It's some kind of SMS app. Go to your message folder and it should be there and just delete

The orange star in the notification area is a notification from Blackberry App. World promoting a new application available for download. Go to messages and mark it as read.
