In Sprints new Playbook, The Curve 2 is officially EOL'd the end of October. Same goes for the Curve 8350i on the IDEN side of things.

It looks like SPRINT is making room for OS 6 capable devices like the Style and Curve 3g.

I have no idea what it means for Nextel users.

It means they're screwed. Nextel can't handle a 3G phone on their iDEN. I had the 8350i for about a year. It was a good phone but it only did about half of what it was supposed to do because of the slow iDEN connection.

Personally, I'm pissed. After my last 8350i broke, Sprint "upgraded" me to the 8530. I just got this 8530 in February and now this? I refuse to extend my contract for another two years for the exact same phone I've got now. Only difference I can tell is the 9330 can handle the OS6. Who cares.
