Look under "cell phone repair" in your local phone book... If they repair Berrys, they'll be able to replace it for you. :-)

It's really simple to do. Here are some videos to walk you thru the process.

Trickiest part is finding a T5/T6 screw driver but I've been able to find them at my local Home Depot.

Check out BBEnriched for parts and tools... and use the promo code "B3rryPart$" for a discount.

And check out this thread for a disassembly guide!

Where did ya end up ordering from?

And, no... you do not need to replace your keypad when you swap out the housing...

I was reading a thread two days ago about housing and someone was pleased with a purchase she had from ebay, from a company in HongKong, her thread had pictures etc, so i was browsing earlier and found a complete housing set with trackball and keypad (I will save for future probs) and the screwdrivers etc..

Before you let your boyfriend take hammer and icepick to your precious phone, have a quick look at this vid about how to take apart a BlackBerry Curve.

LOL I wont say what I WANT to say here :P

    One question

Looking at my order, comes with the screwdrivers etc, also a housing tool.. whats a housing tool?

If I just want to replace the case and not the keypad blah blah, do I still need to remove the side rails?

Screwdrivers are nothing to be afraid of unless you have had too many or are driving. Always take the safe route!! Good luck on your new case!!

You may want to ask your carrier or check your documentation.
In a lot of cases, opening the housing WILL void your warranty.

A "housing tool" is most likely referring to a case opening tool. It will allow you to pry the side rails away from the faceplate without damage.

I recently ordered from cnn.cn, the place in China and got my parts in under two weeks and for a small $5.00 shipping fee! Great for finding OEM parts.
