Ok, I feel like I am missing something easy here... I had the 8300 Curve (AT&T), went to an unlocked Storm, killed it, and am now using a friends 8300 Curve. I swear that w/ my old curve, if I received multiple texts from the same person, it grouped them all together, and it wasn't until I opened up the latest text that I could see the whole conversation. With this loaner one, I have seperate texts for every sent and received, and it's killing me.. am I missing something in the settings? I've tried to go through them and I didn't think it was this difficult!!
Someone have any advice, or does what I say above make y'all think I am crazy?

Try going to options> SMS text > Number of previous items. Mine is set to 7 but you can change that and it might be what you are looking for.

On my 8330 with the messages folder open Menu/Options/inbox Settings, you can choose what goes into the main message list. Hope that helped.
