Go to the ring tone, click the blackberry button, set as ringtone. That will set it as the ringtone for all contacts that do not have an assigned ringtone.

i already have a custom ringtone and some of my contact have their own ringtone but i want all other number (unknown,numbers that are not in my contact list)i would like to add a diffrent ringtone for these numbers is this possible

I don't believe that is possible.

it is the setting is "phone"...... but even if you have a contact in your list that does not have a custom tone for it will ring when they call
