I have the Blackberry Curve 8300 and I have NO IDEA how to set ringtones for texts. Help?

To set ringtones for texts go to Profiles > Advanced > Active Profile > SMS

Also, you can change the ringtone for MMS, email, BBM, Facebook, and other messaging services by going to Profiles > Advanced > Active Profile

Hey I was reading this thread and thanks again for sharing that Iceman. I just got my 8330 just two weeks ago or there about that time frame and still learning the tips and tricks of BlackBerry.

There are so many variations of ways to set up the alerting on these phones it's crazy. Besides being able to modify 6 available profiles, you can even create your own.
