The Curve I just upgraded to has a trackball with a "grainy" feel to it while the pearl was smooth. Is there anyway I can switch the 2?

Ive taken the Pearl trackball out before to clean it, im just not sure if it will work if I put it in the Curve. Plus, what parts do I have to change? Just the trackball or its entire trackball housing?

Not a bad idea as my pearl trackball is "discolored" to say the least.

Anyone know if trackballs sold seperately are the grainy or smooth type?

I was considering getting a new trackball. I then began to like the mild grainyness of my brand new curve. It can be done. I most likely won't.

i think u need to get the entire trackball casing. its not just the ball that gives it the feel. i believe its the rollers inside the casing.
