I got a refurbished 8900 back in February. It's been working great, and then Monday I found out that my friends on Verizion, Sprint and Criket are not getting my text messages. I'll get their texts, but they won't receive mine. My friends on AT&T and T-Mobile have no issues getting my messages.
I know this is a device issue because I tried my text messaging on my iPhone (which I really hate), and my Verizon, Sprint and Criket friends got my texts.
My question is, will AT&T actually be able to help me fix this or am I just screwed? I know the 90 day warranty is over for my 8900. If I have to go buy a new one, I will. Yes, I hate the iPhone that much.
I'm on the 4.6 OS. I'm too chicken-s*** to upgrade to 5.0. I've bricked phones in the past trying to so an unoffical OS upgrade.
