    Hi 8900'ers
My friend's 8900 fell into a pool last night. We grabed It out, took out the battery ans let it try. Today he tried it and it was working except for the keypad didn't work. He reloaded the os and everything was back to normal.
However, now his Red LED won't turn off.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
    Thanks
    Krishna

TOO SOON.... pull the battery... put it in a bag of dry rice... leave it in there for 2 days... then you might have a workable device.

Take that battery out and put it in rice immediately for at least 2 days. It sounds like you might be out of luck and the damage is already done.

Fatboy, didn't mean to offend u. Just u said to do it to get a working device. The phone is working and everything is running fine, except for the red led won't turn off that's it.

He has the coverege indicator on, and it will flash green but the red light stays on
